Former X Factor Finalist Gabrielle Carrington Denies Murder of Influencer in Soho
Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor finalist, has appeared in court to deny the murder of social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska. The 29-year-old singer, who rose to fame on the 2013 series of the talent show, is accused of striking Zakrzewska with a car outside the Inca nightclub in Argyll Street, Soho, in the early hours of 19 April. The incident occurred at approximately 04:30 BST, and Zakrzewska, 32, tragically died six days later from her injuries.
Carrington, from Manchester, appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from Bronzefield prison, where she is being held. She formally denied the charge of murder as well as an additional charge of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
