American Horror Story Season 13: Everything We Know About the Coven-Centric Return
Something wicked this way comes. Mark your calendars, American Horror Story fans: Season 13 arrives on FX and Hulu this September, and it’s shaping up to be the franchise’s biggest season yet. Over the past few months, co-creator Ryan Murphy has teased fans with first looks of actors returning in character on his Instagram, including Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon (Murder House), Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode, aka The Supreme (Coven), and Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery (Coven). These posts have sent the fandom into a frenzy, speculating how these iconic characters will intersect in the new season.nnSpeaking with Entertainment Tonight at The Shards premiere in July, Murphy further revealed more details on how this season’s characters bring together elements from previous seasons. He hinted that the story will weave together threads from Murder House, Coven, and Apocalypse, creating a crossover event like no other. And more importantly, who will be in the cast? While Murphy hasn’t confirmed the full roster, he did assure that both Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson will be a major part of American Horror Story season 13. Their return is sure to delight longtime fans who have followed their transformative performances throughout the series.nnIn a post shared on Instagram in April 2026, Murphy confirmed that the “entire Robichaux Academy” has been rebuilt for this season, hinting that the Coven will be the main focus once again following on from Coven and Apocalypse. This suggests that the witches will play a central role in the new chapter, possibly facing a new threat that ties back to the antichrist or other supernatural forces. With the academy restored, fans can expect the return of familiar locations and perhaps new students.nnThere’s no way they could possibly end the iconic horror series before they got to that all important 13th season, could they?! With Murphy at the helm and a cast of fan-favorites, Season 13 promises to be a thrilling culmination of the show’s legacy. Stay tuned for more updates
