Siddharth Sharma’s appointment as the CEO of Tata Trusts marks a significant chapter in the organization’s storied history. With a career that began in October 1992 as a civil servant, Sharma brings a wealth of experience from over two and a half decades in key ministries and departments of the Government of India. His tenure included a notable role as the Financial Advisor to the 13th and 14th Presidents of India, a position that honed his expertise in governance and financial stewardship. This background uniquely positions him to lead one of India’s oldest public charitable foundations, which has been instrumental in driving social change across the nation.
Before stepping into his current role, Sharma transitioned to the Tata Group in February 2019, where he headed the Tata Sustainability Group from 2019 to 2023.
