Giants Edge Rangers in Pitcher’s Duel, Lee Shines with Two Homers

Lee, who had his second multi-homer game in the majors, provided the offensive spark, while Webb delivered a masterclass on the mound in his 200th career appearance.
Webb (7-7) was nearly untouchable, allowing just five hits—all singles—and striking out a season-high eight batters over seven innings. His ability to keep the Rangers’ hitters off balance was key to the Giants’ win, as he consistently induced weak contact and avoided the big inning. The Rangers, who have been in a rebuilding mode after trading away several players, struggled to generate any sustained offense against Webb’s precise pitching.
